Walking to school
Umina Beach Public School held a "Walk Safely to School Day" on Friday, May 19.
It was to "raise awareness of the health and environmental benefits that regular walking can provide for our children's wellbeing", said principal Ms Karen Wardlaw.
"Even if you don't normally walk, today may be the day to change the family routine and join with other students and teachers who will be walking to school this morning."
